I read a meta study just a few months ago that looked at about 10 studies dealing with 10 000 subjects and about 300 traits and found only 16 of them differed in a significant way and they were mostly strength and aggression related. Women tend to be marginally better at communication, women are actually a little itty bit better at computation and men are a little itty bit better at problem solving. Can't remember the actual correlation index but ya. Men and Woman are more alike than we are different. I think people are just complicated. Guy or girl.

I concur. I suspect there are more differences within genders than between them.
In my field, some myths (such as women speaking more than men) have been debunked ages ago, and it's hard to find a biological basis for pretty much any difference.

I think anyone trying to find an inherent gender difference is going to fail, or point to isolated incidences and try to generalize those for a whole gender, which also fails.. Our brains aren't all that different, except by weight. Our thought process aren't all that different. Women aren't less aggressive/more nurturing "naturally", that's been socialized into women. Males aren't oversexed and ready to fight at a moment's notice, that's also been socialized.
Gender is only a big deal if you make it one, but it has been made one, which is unfortunate for those who simply don't identify with their biological sex.
