It would appear most of the ATLTA's are still scared off from DJRYAN's arrival. That's a shame. But as the bringer of this forum's demise did already say, we have some events coming into town.

Cosmic Gate - Friday, August 10th
George Acosta - Friday, August 17th
Paul van Dyk - Wednesday, August 29th
Markus Schulz - Friday, September 14th
Armin van Buuren - Friday, October 12th

Was pretty excited when I got that e-mail last week announcing most of those. And then even more excited when the TBA for September 14th turned into Markus Schulz. Prolly won't go to all of those like I used to, but definitely going to try and make it out for PvD and Schulz. Hopefully some of ya'll will too. Always nice to have a crowd there for the music and not the other stuff.

I'd definitely be interested in going to some of these (not really CG since I can't stand their post-2007 "style"), and would be down for a TA meetup beforehand or something (drinks perhaps?). I just moved to Atlanta from Chicago a month ago and have yet to find a good trance or at least EDM crowd to go out with or just hang out with.

You're a bitch.. shut-up..

It's okay DJRYAN, you shouldn't blame yourself that this forum has zero activity now. I mean, it's not like it was predicted when you came here that it would die...oh wait...it was. Scratch that, please blame yourself.

I used to check up on this forum every once in a while even after I moved out of Atlanta, it was always pretty lively, and then I move back and I notice it's completely dead...

Thanks for the post trancension. The forums have all but died. Whether it's a coincidence or not, it happened right around the time djryan arrived. Liquified tired of posting events I guess, so I guess we have to rely on people like you to fill us in. Glad to see some decent shows coming up. Like you, I will not be going to as much as I used to, but hope to make it to one or two. I am also leaning towards PvD and Schulz. Armin is cool and all, but not really wanting to trek out to wild bills. Don't they have a pretty bad crowd already?

I'd be interested in seeing Markus over at Opera... all these years and I've still never seen him live.

Wild Bills does not have a built in crowd for Fridays and Saturdays, when we do special events there its all fans of the music we are promoting. The Tiesto show we did there was great, nice big room with plenty of space for everyone, seating, big stage that we can produce a wicked show on with full LED, lights, Lasers and we bring in one of the very best VDOSC sound systems!

There's not much of an Atlanta userbase on this forum. The same five or six of us are the only people that ever browse this forum, so a promoter spending time posting events here is more counter-productive than anything.

Atlanta has its own local forum, which can be found here. Whatever doesn't make it here is almost always posted there. If you're into the House-ier side of things, this blog and this site are good places to look.

I cannot believe people are still interested in those artists.

PVDfan07
Idoru, how could it be counter-productive if they even get one or two more people to go. I would have gladly gone to the Above and Beyond show, but since no one took two minutes to post the ad here, I didn't know about it. That's money they lost because of not letting us know. Not to mention the friends the users here do have that like trance and may not know about things. Don't you think a business would want as many people as possible to know about your event especially if it's as simple as posting an ad here?

Enydo, I can't believe you are still interested in being a troll.

Ya, not entirely sure why it's dead tbh. I just find it funny that someone said djryan would kill it when he came...and literally a month later this place was a ghost town.

I would be going to armin @ wild bills to give it chance, but ill be out of town that weekend. So pvd and schulz might be the only two i make it out to.
