Always looking for any feedback and/or constructive criticism. This is probably going to be my second last track that I'm doing in the "city" motif, before I finish it up and prime it up for release.
Cheers.

| Nice one! Digging the sounds and soft full mix. Also some good melody. What do you make your music with? |

When I saw "Deep. Dark. Progressive" I just had to listen :D
It sounds solid, but I think one aspect I did not like was when you dropped in the beat. Normally I feel like it releases the tension building up in the track, but I felt yours felt a bit melodramatic.
Other than that I like the percussion and the general feel/atmosphere of the track.
Looking foward to hearing the next/final version :) |

Thanks for the feedback so far! Very helpful for me =)
@meriter: at least he's blacker than Al Borland
@MrMaunus: Let's see. FLStudio as my host sequencer. Maschine and Battery for drums. VSL Special Edition for strings and orchestral sounds. And then a whole whackload of different VSTs for other instruments and effects.
@djnitride: Thanks! This is exactly the type of feedback I was looking for. I made some changes to the arrangements with a few fx changes and tried to make the tension release a bit better. I did want overall a more smooth sounding less dramatic progressive type of sound but I do understand the need to release the tension. Appreciate the comment and made some changes, which will probably be likely close to the final version. |
