| Say I draw notes...The higher the velocity of a note, the brighter a sound gets, while the lower the velocity, the more low-passed a sound becomes. How do you call it? And how do I achieve it in Sytrus? |

| velocity-envelope knob/fader probably close to filter-adsr. was easy in Reasons synths, dont know Sytrus. One of the most important understandings to make livelike leads and arps in edm. |

In FM8 you just boost a Velocity knob provided for each operator and the stronger you press the note the brighter the sound becomes..anything similar? But your advice is worth tryin, tho |

will work either way. You can mod the fm index with the velocity, or the filter, both will have different but somewhat similar results.
the point is that velocity is mapped to some parameter. What ever that might be. |
