After Gabby Douglas won the gold and Bob Costas spoke on her being the first African-American to win the women's all-around gymnastics title, they immediately aired a commercial which apparently caused a stir.

Priceless, if you ask me :stongue: . You be the judge...

Theres a difference between african american and black. If she were black nobody wouldve gave a .
OrangestO
Racist? No.

Bad judgement? Yes.

NBC should've known not to air this commercial, which has been airing during other times of the Olympics, after reporting on this particular story.

Nice try blacktivists.
Lagrangian
In spite of America's adroitness towards brawny candidacy, a glorious backwash of this kind endorses a slightly conflicting infatus vis-à-vis the beaten facsimile of present-day America.

Well done, congeries of valor*.

Anxieties
NBC is incompetent and greedy more than anything else, they're not clever enough to do this intentionally.

Everything is racist.

If you think an ad about a sloth, monkey or whatever it is has any relation to black people, then its you who is inherently racist. Any impartial person would just look at it and think "hey, it's a cute animal climbing some rings" not "hey, that looks like a black person! what a derogatory comparison!"

Yes. Anyone educated doesn't use that term, anymore.

The term "black" is more than sufficient, folks.
