Is a Pentium G630 quick enough to run Traktor Scratch?

generic
It's a dual core processor at 2.7GHz
I know a dual core duo at 2GHz is supposed to be enough, but I'm not sure what features have been stripped from the G630, regardless of clock speed.

Cheers

isnt ram and hd speed most important for these dj-softwares? consider a ssd it ing improved my mbp

Should be more than enough. I get sub 10 ms latency on my Asus K72F with a i3-350M that clocks in at 2 x 2.26 GHz, and with the new Traktor update I no longer can hear any little noise artifacts, like you could get when changing folders etc.

Ummm no, you could have all the ram and mb's and ghz' in the world and you'd still get glitchy sound unless you have a well suited audio interface.

I'm assuming you're using Windows - check this guide out. It's a must read for Windows users: http://www.native-instruments.com/k...udio+Processing

You'll be fine.

The G630 is a great little processor. Significantly better than the core2duo, as it uses the next generation architecture.
