Any suggestions for cool places where there is some live jazz? I actually prefer nujazz, bossanova, hiphop jazz...

The Rex on Queen street and Grossman's Tavern on Spadina are both worth checking out. Hope that helps. |

Definitely the Rex, that's the first thing that comes to mind. It just passed but if you're in the city late July next year hit up the Beaches Jazz Festival. Always a good time. |

Reservoir lounge on front and church (next to Pravda bar) is hands down best Jazz spot in Toronto, especially on Tuesdays and Fridays! |

Yep. So very fun. Never been to the Rex but Grossman's is ok, more of a dive than Reservoir. |

we caused a bit of a rucus with out 40 ppl birthday bash but otherwise it's a nice place for a date too:) |
