Day 6
I always love the energy of the Sutra/OC crowd. The openers played a very high energy electro set (remember the discussion about openers) but the crowd was loving it and they seem to be very popular with it. This sound was what I was expecting from Benny Benassi as well. The first hour he actually played a very diverse set (electro, house, dubstep, and even trance - definitely did not expect trance) and, although it could be described as all over the place, it was actually enjoyable. The second hour was all electro. I left about the time he played Satisfaction. I like how Sutra keeps bringing in these names on their long weekend events. |

How packed was it?
I was there on Saturday night and it was packed, but not like super packed.
I was talking to the one of the guys there and he said the days prior were kind of light crowd wise. One thing I did know is that the tables were sold out when they said Benny was going to be there.
I really liked how they have the club now with led displays and the kryo confetti etc etc, way different since the last time I was there... |

That's how I would describe it too: packed but not super packed. When the openers were still on they were trying to keep the entrance walkway to the floor completely clear, later they let people stand left and right.
The setup has been like this for a while, I wish there was a way to make more room when it gets packed like this. |
