Although I have to say, the amount of obscure vinyl imprints popping up every week these days is pretty dumb. It's no longer unique and edgy guys. Also, if you produce your tracks on a computer and don't DJ with vinyl and then put out vinyl only, you are a massive hypocrite.

Yea its definitely getting really cun ty in this mini-scene with the no-outer sleeve hand stamped labels. The tunes are really good though so I put up with it.
The guy Chris that runs Tusk Wax plays vinyl when he dj's. Or at least he says he does. I believe him.

Are they really, though? The human desire for exclusivity is strong and I honestly think a lot of vinyl only releases are rather average and we wouldn't give them nearly as much attention if they were released on some netlabel or something. I mean the real example is the Knowone label, they took some digital only tracks no one previously gave about and pressed them on anonymous marbled wax and suddenly everybody was going crazy over them.

I know what you're saying, and I'm not immune to the vinyl only fever. Sometimes it gets me. I think the Tusk series is absolute dope though. I paid like 6 pounds each for the ones I have and I think they are worth it. This isnt a case of me paying alot and therefor thinking I was special. Plus, there's 300 of everything on Tusk. That's not limited at all these days.
p.s. I am a huge dub tech fan but I think the knowone series is meh at best. I dont own any of them in any format.
