These aren't exactly new, I actually released them on Last.fm and Google+ in late February, but I was a self-imposed ban from TA at the time. I figure I might as well repost them here since it gives me an excuse to change my sig, which hasn't been changed in over a year.
Anyways, here they are, I hope you like them, fairly short compared to my other releases.
Please leave feedback if you like. :) Also I have some soundtrack work coming out pretty soon. I will be sure to keep that updated! |

Any specific criticism?
To be honest they are tracks that I just found in my projects folder, tidied up a bit and released. |

first track.. Mostly just.. umm.. eq work, on everything.. im not on my monitors, but it sounds like everything is just mashed right in the middle. the vox pad is muddy. the tiny perc loop couldve used with some sizzle to make them pop. it's a very flat stereo image. both up AND down, if that makes any sense. and it is kinda boring and melanchol-ish, kinda not evoking any emotions whatsoever, although i know there are ppl that like that, i like abit of feeling. also a lead synth wouldn't be a bad thing, maybe a slow arp or something.. and a dirty lofi drum loop.
i dunno, did that help?
edit: it isn't bad-bad. but it isn't good either. imo. but there are some cool-ish ideas there, that could evolve into something else. but it needs more work. |
