I'm looking for a decent affordable pair of headphones for mixing in....... I have a 5month old daughter and only get nap times and nights to do anywork. I would finish of my mixes off on the monitors but would like to know what cans you all recommend for an accurate balance...... Open or closed......I'm assuming open but I've read that certain pairs of closed to a good job.....
I'm going for around the 100- 150 quid mark....
Any thoughts would be appreciated
Cheers

Akg 240's seem to be a popular choice, but a lot of people have recommended the audio tech ath m50's ! Also now the Krk kns have been introduced to me and since I own pair it makes sence! are they a flat responce? Not to bass heavy since they are closed cup are they? |

Thanks for all the comments....I will be trying the AKG k240's and also a pair of teh KRK 8400's.... just simply because im interested to see the translation between them and my monitors. Il listen to both and send one back. Also might be getting the Focusrite VRM box aswell....seems a handy little tool..
