I've kind of come full circle with this mix. I started out mixing funky house on Ableton and trying my best to put some competent mash ups together. However now i'm a fully fledged mash up expert (not really) and can pull off three tune transitions and teases with ease.......yeah right.
There's been a fair few months of work put into this mix and ensuring the highest quality mash ups have been crammed into a 40 minute peice of musical mastery. My musical interests have really changed in the last year, i've started listening to a lot more progressive house which seems to just get to the point and cuts out all the guff and buildup cobblers. The style isn't for everyone but i'm definately a fan.
I hope you take a listen to my new mix, and any comments are always welcome - good or bad. I'm dead chuffed with this mix, I think it turned out really well with older tunes mixed into newer ones and an energetic vibe that doesn't let up.
