Just got turned onto the "Glitch Mob" - very impressed. Not my usual cup of tea, but a pleasant surprise. Enjoyed it quite a bit.
Also, while I heard the music before, I didn't realize the composers behind it and their respective body of work. Case in point: Ennio Morricone, along with him Dulce Pontes, and while we're at it Francis Lai. Lastly, my trip to Italy introduced me to this "off the beaten path" track that I really got into, especially after googling the meaning of the lyrics.
on topic, I haven't heard anything "new" per se. I've been into, italo disco I guess? eurobeat I think was a term I heard. Idk exactly what it is, but music from the anime "Initial D"
I like to drive around empty highways at night, 90mph, smoking, laid back and just taking it all in... even though I know so many things could go wrong in that situation, I feel totally relaxed.
