After taking a hiatus last year we're going to do one Summer Dance Party @ The Legion this coming Sunday August 26th.
What is Summer Dance Party @ The Legion?
Giant patio, beautiful lake, massive BBQs, ridiculous (Dynacord) sound system.
Here's the deal: It's BYO Food / picnic basket. There are two giant gas grills for you to cook your meet or vegetables or whatever. In previous years we've provided napkins and paper plates but this year it is completely up to you guys to bring everything you need for your picnic lunch. Napkins, plates, forks. It's like coming to the park, except we're on a patio and there's a BAR and there are BBQs.
DO NOT bring alcohol into this event. The bar has a decent selection of all sorts of drinks and the prices are extremely reasonable. To sneak alcohol into this party is a) illegal and b) just dumb. Don't do it.

Location: 1395 Lakeshore Blvd West just west of Jameson Ave. Walk! Or ride your bike! Or take a taxi. Parking is very limitted.
Duration: 2pm to 11pm. Come early. Have a drink. Dance. Make dinner. Have another drink. Dance some more! :)
