agree 100% upstairs 70% of the people were there just to be there with no idea what was going on while downstairs people were there to dance and party. But the women there last night :gsmile: |

really wanted to go last night but need to take a break (for my body and pocketbook). i'm assuming the crowd was somewhat different than the usual trance and top 40 house group?

first time hearing Damian and he had an awesome set.
Very RAVEY with an old school 90's house vibe going. Simple melodies and big basslines. Played a couple tunes that sounded like Julio Bashmore tunes. |

i spent most of the night downstairs, actually. I really enjoyed Fur Coat - was great to hear barnt - geffen and, a bit later, makam - what ya doin. Those 2 have been such jams for me this summer. |

honestly... i always felt Get Lost, Hot Natured and all the others as very intimate parties. With the craziness of Saturday night, I felt that intimacy was lost (other then hanging out downstairs). Insomniac has definitely brought deep house/techno/tech-house to the main stream and it's kind of ruining it for me.
i don't... maybe i'm just a jaded old fart
