gah..not enough characters available in the subject

different one from me this time round, my last mix was a aggressive dirty dark jungle type...on the flipside of this is colourful pop scenery, lazy lazy sunday afternoon music, soundtrack for dreamers and procrastinators.

it's a bit of a strange one really, i thought some tracks didnt go at the time, the direction wasnt particularly clear at the beginning (i wasnt too sure where to go with it) however about 1/3rd of the way through i begin to pick up traction and had an idea...i kinda went with the intention of easy listening but got sidetracked a bit, net result im happy with it and my gf loves this mix, its easy to listen to i guess.

anyway, enough of me yacking, go have a listen for yourself :)

I listened to this set at 4:30 AM on my drive home from vacation. I must tell you, I experienced a number of different emotions during this mix. Firstly, this mix sounded an awful lot like something Spike Witney would spin, and I hope he checks this out. I'm sure he knows most if not all of these tracks. Secondly, there is a lot of variety here for a chillwave set. I went from doing The Robot during Autobahn, to drifting in space, to being on a country road with the windows down watching all the HOERSES during Band On the Run, to decomposing to a bunch of tiny maze-like lines in different colors during Radiohead - Street Spirit, and finally allowing my internal organs float out of my body during Athlete - Wires. I was like woooaaahhh bro. Nice work.

may i add to this... its not really much of a mix, more of a compilation of sounds that make your heart scream, your soul float and your mind expand.

you know. the type that makes your insides glide between dreams, the sounds that make eagles die, foxes sleep and renaults roar.

blood isnt thicker than water, perhaps only oil. never blood.
