my personal fav has got to be live @ space. I love how he mixes out of Nalin & Kane, it's brilliant.

definitely Space Ibiza...

Reminds me of 2000. Me and my girlfriend on Ko Phangan, Thailand. We didn´t want to go to one of the Halfmoon-Parties and got a bungalow at the other end of the isle... and guess what happened that evening, when we just wanted to have a quiet one? Big speaker towers, two turntables and a guy from Birmingham turn up, 20 Thais, a couple of guys and gals from Canada and Australia and the DJ spins Trance... late that night, we are already chilling I got my tape with Oakey@Space out, get the DJ to plug it in and we go totally crazy to Oakey... oh what memories :)

I haven't got too many of these sets yet,but I here are my 2 fav moments:

Live @ Home,London - When he drops L-Vee - Look Inside (Fire & Ice Mix). All these pearls dropping in one after another and then BAM!This one kicks in.A pure OMG-moment.This one is still my all time F&I production-fav.That piano loop, and that incredible synth-riff...wow!:D

Live @ Joni's,Havana,Cuba - That transition between The Auranaut - People Want Be Needed and V-Tracks - Heretic Voices is MINDBLOWING!:eyes:That Auranaut-track is a little too repetitive, but when he plays the vocals from V-Tracks on top of the whole maelström of sounds from The Auranaut,it's just amazing.

I TEND TO LIKE THE GATECRASHER LOTHERTON HALL SET THE BEST. ITS THE FIRST LIVE SET I EVER HAD SO MAYBE I'M A LITTLE BIASED. ANYWAY, THE BREAKDOWN IN JON VESTA - GULL... NICE ONE BRUTHA... I SAID NICE ONE AND THEN IT KICKS IN HEHEHE. ITS THE CLASSIC FOR ME.:eyes: :eyespop: :nervous: :disbelief

yes! i was just hearing this the other day thinking wow... that was a good transition! is that the original v-tracks tho? cause i got the angles remix which sounds heaps like it but not that cool vocal! or was that vocal even a third source! (more respect!)

I don't think you can beat when he plays The Realm - 'Lost In Space' during the Creamfields set, that whole section near the end is superb.

Also I agree with the person above about the Miami definitely one of the classiest Oakie sets out there.
sifntj0r
pete tong certainly adds a little cherry on the top of awesome oakie sets
