Ok it's probably trancestep. Took about 3 weeks off music production (a little here and there of course) and heard a similar styled track today and felt like going this direction. This is the only part I have so far but want to make sure I get the foundation of all the synths and samples right.

gotta use a different snare I think... that sample sounds like it's intended to hit along with the kick like in trance... doesn't have any punch/low-end

I like it. Has a very polished feel to it. Nice work.

You knock up these impressive soundscapes so fast, I have no idea how you do it. Good work so far but a bit of a heavier snare as was pinted out.

There is something with your kick - have no idea what but layering maybe with more mid range one will give you this tight/compress punch which will cut through you sounds much more dynamically - just my $0.02.

Overall very cleaver and catchy concept at this moment - really like it !!!

Very keen observation 007. It is a strange kick (new it when I put it in) and I was going to change it most likely anyway, just hadn't gotten to it.

I am completely renovating the track though. It won't sound very similar when I am through. I really want to make a top notch trancestep song and the main thing I struggle with is the synth selection and synth layering. I will post updates most likely.

You just have to fine extra room in your freq for your different/layered synths - I can't wait !!!

That is a really broad criticism.
