breaking bad is the best show on television and will probably give the wire a run for the best show of all time by the time it's over. while that's obviously my subjective opinion, i think everyone is in accordance with that at this point.

AMC is killing it - mad men is great, the walking dead is great. suits on USA is pretty damn good too, a nice change of pace from the regular dramas.

can't wait for always sunny to come back on and hoping larry david does another season of curb - easily the funniest ing show around. absolutely genius!

*edit - game of thrones is also incredible. does anyone who watch suits catch the lannister reference in the finale this week?

Actually going through Fraiser on Netflix at the moment :p Before that was King of The Hill, Lost, Dexter, and Entourage of course!

I'm addicted to Real Time with Bill Maher. One of the only political talk shows where he brings on people of opposing beliefs (conservatives, mostly) to engage in the panel.

As for series... my favorite series that I'm completely caught up with are:

1. Game of Thrones (seriously amazing)
2. Dexter (a couple seasons weren't that strong, but most of it is superb)
3. Boardwalk Empire (lot going on in this show, but it's awesome)
4. Walking Dead (also simply amazing)
5. Breaking Bad (great as well)

Shows I've started that I also love:

1. Mad Men (strangely addicting)
2. True Blood (quirky and corny, but also strangely addicting)

Other great non-series shows that I've watched extensively:

-An Idiot Abroad (lols)
-The Ricky Gervais Show (more lols)
-Through the Wormhole (great, cutting edge research. However they do bring some crackpots on the show [Frank Tipler LOL], so you have to take some of the crazier stuff with a grain of salt)
-Eastbound and Down (more lols)

I've been burning through all the old seasons of the X-Files on Netflix lately. Watching like 3 episodes a night. Just the right dose of nostalgia!

On a side note, I'm glad to see general discussion threads popping up here now. The pages upon pages of event threads made me run for the hills for the while.
