Just wanting any tips and advice you have before I master this / get it mastered.
I today realise a couple of transitions need work.
I posted this a while back, but it's so different now that I felt a new thread made more sense.

You are going to bring the main riff back one more time and make the song a little longer? I think you should have a final climax with it.
I really like the overall song. You have the ability to not make your songs repetitive and seamlessly go from part to part while keeping the overall theme alive. I think the mixing could use some work, but I am sure you will deal with that.

I'm really digging this, Richard. I don't have any complaints and love all the stuff you have going on, in the back-ground, behind the lead. Really brilliant stuff, man.

definitely should come back to that hook!! im finding that that final square sounding lead is a bit overpowering in the mix, i'd take it back a few decibels to let the groove shine in that section and then right at the end of that mini buildup return to the main stabs :D
im in love with the track itself though. well done.

EDIT - just listened with fresh ears, sh1t the bed there's tons needs fixing on this mutha. It's a mess.
Thanks for the feedback you three. Just to clarify your's and Excess' point here, by 'the main riff' do you mean the arpy stabs that begin after the intro?
Do you think the last little break I have here should feature the square leed as it does, and then the final drop should have that leed removed?
Cheers all - I'm pretty insecure when it comes to producing so whilst I ought to just go with what I think, I'm just not at that level of competence yet.

One thing I noticed that I felt made the transition sort of weird was when you came in with the first really synth-y lead around 0:55 is how you brought it in unaffected and then brought the filter in after 2 times through. I think to really utilize the silence you have right before it, it might work really well to start with a low-pass all the way down and then bring the cutoff up to zero right when the drums come in full force - does that make sense?
Finished the whole thing. As far as mixing goes, the only thing I noticed is perhaps bringing down a little brightness on the stabs at around 3:00. Its not as noticeable when everything kicks back in together, but when that synth line is going without as much going on, some of the highs are a little piercing.
Edit: Also, one thing you might want to adjust is the envelope on the strings you have at the beginning. It almost sounds like an ineffective Haas delay. Try finding something with a bit more immediate attack.

The one that comes in at 55 secs and filters out 1:40. It is very Pryda'ish. I think you need to have a final drop where it all comes together focused on that.

You and your production definitely mature the right way Richard ;) - really evocative and well executed production idea/concept.
I can hear another track will be on Ibiza floor lol - got my vote.
Just work on your clean and dynamic mixing/mastering and if I could have one suggestion for you my friend it would be --> this pluck around 3 min is great and if you layer it with some slightly different toner sound would get you really nice and catchy feel to this part of your track --> that's all from me man - well done, really nice work !!!
