It's one thing to have the map point away from the party. But when I had to drive an hour and a half from So. OC to Hollywood only to find out I'm driving out to Morongo? That was a drag. |

True! But I was young and it was all part of the experience for me. We still had fun though. I remember one time I worked til 11pm, went to the map point in Hollywood, drove to the Polo Fields in Indio. Our car kept on over heating all the way there. :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: We finally made it around 4am only to see the cops raiding the party. :haha: :haha: :haha: It was one of those experiences I'll never forget and I'll treasure it forever. I'm glad I was able to live it.

first parties were in 93... k rave at knotts berry farm and grape ape at wild rivers in irvine.

First party: Some asian club in Atlanta called "716" in 2002 with a side room that played trance. I had just turned 18.
First big DJ: Armin Van Buuren @ Eleven50 in ATL in 2003. I was still 18.
Started drinking at around age 20.
First time "partying"... last Labor Day Weekend, Ferry Corsten @ Avalon, 2011. :) |

no thanks, and i take precautions to make sure not to get drugged. i used to let hot chicks in vegas and sd who offered to buy me drinks to go ahead and go to the bar and bring me something and i wouldnt give it a second thought that they could potentially spike the drink to try and take advantage of me. now when women offer up drinks, i make sure to go to the bar and keep an eye on things.

| I was introduced to the music by the Tiesto in Concert DVD of all things that a roommate of mine at the time told me I HAD to watch and that I would love it. She knew me well lol. First Party was ETD Pop 2008 a month later with Deep Voices->Markus->Ferry->Tiesto (about a 45 min set before they raided the Cow Palace). Even with the raid it was still an incredible night. All I needed to hear was Markus Schulz' set to truly hook me. Bought my first decks and fell in love with DJing shortly after. Now loving producing as well...what a journey so far. |

First ones I can remember attending were Moby's Area One and Two tours in 2001 and 2002. They featured huge DJ's like Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Tiesto, etc. in the side tent.
I also remember attending Sasha & Digweed's Delta Heavy Tour in Chicago. Oakenfold and Chemical Brothers were also part of the lineup and still one of my favorite memories to this day.
When I got to college in 2006, the first actual rave I attended was a barn out in the middle of the cornfields :haha: |
