Hi all. The company I work for, Pulselocker, is creating a music subscription system for DJs (think spotify+beatport for DJs). The service lets you DJ tracks, online or offline, in serato/traktor/whatever.
We are ready to start beta testing, and are looking for DJ's to try it out and give us some feedback. You can sign up at:

Hey woody - You're on the list! We'll try to get you set up as soon as we can. In the meantime, once you sign up, the next page will show a link that you can share on social sites. Each person who signs up to the beta list using this link, will help you get closer to beta access and help us get the word out.
Thanks! Fred |

Hey guys,
Quick update: The Pulselocker public beta officially launched on the 13th. With Pulselocker, you can stream DJ-tracks on-demand (like Spotify). You can also download tracks into a digital locker on your Mac and DJ them in Serato and Traktor -- before you buy.
If you've ever bought a track only to play it out once or twice, or bought a track based on the 90-second sample and hated it, sign up for a free beta invite (with a 100-track locker and unlimited streaming) at www.pulselocker.com.

| I've been on it since the 11th I think, and I can't figure out how it works. I can't get the tracks to play in Serato. :( Is there a tutorial somwhere? |

Hey Woody - sorry about that. We'll have a proper FAQ up soon, but in the meantime check out this quick instructional video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBscxA0empk
tl;dr: hit the "Files" button in Serato (next to Browse, History, Prepare) -> Music ->Pulselocker folder. shoot me an email at fred [at] pulselocker.com if you have any problems. Thanks! |

Hi Clay,
At this time, we do not support the ability to download tracks onto a USB drive to play on CDJs, but that feature is coming.
Because Pulselocker offers a new technology and a new way for DJs to discover and play tracks, we have to make sure that everything we support offers the best experience we can offer users. That said, Traktor/Serato compatibility is how we are introducing ourselves to the DJ community, but we've got a lot of additional features on our roadmap (like USB support) that we will release as soon as we can.
Thanks,
Fred |
