| I have many times said I can't stand commecial hardhouse in the past! There has been a lot of debate over it, some people say they like, some don't mind it, some agree with me so I thought I'd post a poll about it! Personally I can't stand the commercial cheesy crap like Warp Brothers and Public Domain which both rip off New Order "Consfusion". I also really hate Voodoo & Serano "Blood Is Pumping" and Warp Brothers "We Will Survive" which both sound like a complete rip off of "Higher State Of Consciousness" by Josh Wink! Can these guys not come up with some originality??? What does everyone else think? |

mmm - it is okay
there is a lot of better hardhouse that doesn't get heard as much tho. Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys etc |

hard house is turning .. it used to be good, but now it sees to all have grinding hoovers and stuff in... what happened top the pants & corset's, diddy's and tony de vit's of this world? (and yes the tony de vit's are dead :( RIP to the founder of HH)
as fr the commercial stuff, its just bollocks...

| Well, i don't get pissed off by like somebody do:p, but i find it very bad for the artists mentioned above to make just about the same sound for their tracks. Don't make me respect them one bit.. |

me too, but its usually a case of the commercial stuff having the cheese-factor too high, and that tacky sound that ur average joe who likes top of the pops too much will go out and hear in one of those so called clubz that they have, i have 3 in my town heheh.. full of pissed-up shermanators.. bollocks to that :)

yeah - agreed
but I think it is not the commercial stuff being cheesy (cos the song was written before it became commercial)
I think it is more that the cheesier stuff usually ends up being liked by more ppl. eg top of the pops fans, house music fans - and on the odd occasion a tranceaddict ;) I guess it is because of this that the song becomes popular then overplayed and then really annoying |

Im not much of a fan but i dont mind it in a club. At home though i cant stand to listen to it. I hate the commercial stuff but sayin that im quite into the new Voodoo & Serano one.
