louis ck is great because his subtleties and nuances/innuendos. i'm gonna see him in october, very excited cuz i've never been to a live comedy show before

his standup is pretty different from his show. not even the best bit he does on the 'standup-part' of the show comes close to the stuff he does live. raunchy as , and just takes the jokes places you'd never imagine in a million years. and this all while keeping it extremely personal.
you've made a fine choice for your first comedy show, and I'm just a little bit jellios.

yeah his deadpan timing and facial expressions during some of his routines are classic. i've seen a ton of his stuff on youtube, even some of his early 10-minute comedy club shows

He's still a great standup comedian too, which is important. He did a pretty funny bit on what if god came back to earth and saw how ed up our planet was.
also his bit on the last time he smoked weed is perfect.
