I have been a DJ since 1996'ish and have never had time or patience to learn how to produce. However, I have committed myself to learning how to produce music while I am deployed to afghanistan. I have been playing around with it for an hour or 2 a night teaching myself and just experimenting with different things for the last month. I haven't quite figured out mastering or mixdown yet. This is my first track. Any constructive criticism, critique, advice or feedback is appreciated. Made a few changes and added some stuff. Tried to figure out the mastering piece, still going to need some work on that for sure--it's all confusion.

Your track is not good, there is a load of great information on your soundcloud comments besides the cocksucking. Maybe you should start with those? |

I feel like i am in a circus lol. Your trying to do way to much with the track. personally i say ditch the happy part it just doesn't fit with the mood of the rest. and it sounds kinda lame.
I liked the tom bass in the intro. Has a really nice groove. The hats and claps stick out of mix a bit much at certain points.
Good effort for a first track though! You still have a lot to learn but don't give up! |

| Hey man, I now they were a little harsh, but take it with a grain of salt. There are some good points to your track, it's definitely not the worst track I have ever heard. All I can say is keep at it, improve and prove to these mother f*ckers that you can make good music. ; ) |
