Hi.
Completely stuck here.. just, which is the best unit?
Gemini CD-2000X
Numark CDN-88
Numark CDN-90
I've read some posts on usenet that the CDN-88 beats the CD-2000X cuz of the drive and loop mechanics. But how does the CDN-90 compare to the CDN-88? I've read the site and even seen the drive, just wondered if anybody out there had used all three? I just wanna buy a drive thats "fun" to mess with! I guess the CDN-90 has more features, but is it just an updated CDN-88 for scratch-a-holics?? (does it lack any features off the CDN-88 even??)
Any suggestions welcome!! Thx muchly!!
Yep, I know the Pioneer CDJ-1000 is the bees knees, but they are kinda expensive :)

The Gemini is cheaper than both though i think it lacks quality comapred to the Numark's. Though if you can test it, compare it to the CDN88/90
Out of the 2 Numarks, the CDN-90 is definately better than the CDN-88. There are a lot of imporved features though the price is a lot higher than the CDN-88. The CDN-90 is in the Pioneer CMX-3000 and Denon DN-D9000 area. |
