I'm not French Canadian. I'm a wop that speaks English as a first language that happened to live in a French part of the country. I speak French, Italian, Korean and soon (hopefully) passable Mandarin. I think I can teach language better than a one trick pony.
Best engrish sign ever was a do not defecate stuck to the bathroom stall of one of the schools i worked at. The day before i clogged the out of it with my big western poutine s and declined to tell anyone. |

Probably the same hipster roommate who was plastering red-papered photocopies of the Soviet hammer & sickle up on our ceiling right before the USSR abruptly disintegrated. Our room was a real workers paradise. That, and the bathroom of the Top 40 radio station he hid in just prior to being fired. One of the laziest milquetoasts I've ever met.
This story kind of gets me all weepy for Joe McCarthy. |

| sorry to hear that steve. i miss my cats fiercely as well. when i find the appropriate arranged marriage i will send for mine. I've been here hardly no time and don't think I'm ever coming back to Canada simply because China actually shows you how poor Canada and the US really is. |
