For some reason everything in Beatport works here except checking stuff out, which really ing sucks. Good news though is that shipping from europe is way cheaper here. I just need to buy chink house, because so far the music here has been uninspiring and they need a change while remaining chinky as not to scare them too much with One night In NYC.
that Gerd set is nice but it sounds more gook than chink.

basically I'm trying to find some decent Chinese stuff to slip in a set which will allow me to play good music next week for them, hopefully making them a bit less tone retarded. It's bad enough watching them dance.

Yeah, I meant more something with maybe mandarin vocals that doesn't sound like it plays in the waiting room of a rub n tug/chinese buffet. Chinese style instrumentation and so on. The popular music here is horrible, it is essentially chinese covers of Western songs. I haven't been here long enough, but i have to find a way to work it into some moodymann and p funk.
