Yes. He is very similar to Digweed when it comes to performing visually to the crowd. lol.

agreed. he's pretty chill. i've seen him pump his hands in the air but nothing too over the top.

it was okay, i wasn't impressed but i had fun. he mostly just stood there and didnt move around much, really really low energy (is that how he normally is?)

how does his body movement affect the music that comes out of the cdj's/turntables/usb stick(whatever he uses)?

They are on contract, x gigs for x amount of shows so it's not like he played for free. He only does that in LA lol

I'm sure he got compensated VERY well for the NYE party anyways...

for the most part the crowd was complete trash, but i was there with 5 friends so i didnt give a

e: the opener played mostly hip hop, lots and lots of older too (like from my high school years)

e2: was not complainging when i said he was low energy, was just stating what i observed. (i wasnt impressed because the last time i saw him i enjoyed his set a lot more)

My friend Tara opened up for him?

Well at least she said she was going to, she would have played tech?

And yeah, he just stands there not much of a "visual" guy.

i think its $220K per gig.... or close to that.

Tara ended up not playing.... she was supposed to open but she didn't even go to Vegas...

if he makes 220k per gig at surrender, how much does tiesto command at the wynn properties...according to
http://surrendernightclub.com/flash/

he is still a resident as is deadmau5 as is alesso, david guetta, calvin harris, which would go against the articles about vegas clubs going to war...so confusing, almost as confusing as defining what a headlining dj is.

$220k for prydz?

seems a bit high no?

came from a reliable source but always could be off.

Tiesto is supposedly $250K per show right now but i'm sure that will go up at Hakassan.
diabloargentino
a quarter of a million dollars to DJ for 2 hours(if you could even call it that with the mainstream guys) is mind blowing. are these clubs pulling in millions a night from bottles?

Yeap! Specially since I heard he played in OC for $30K and didn't even break even.
Cool1g
sounded high to me as well for Prydz... but also the clubs in vegas will pay more than expected just to prevent them from playing at another club.
