If you want to party with locals go to the Temple Bar district. It's right on the Liffey and like 2 blocks from the spire.

I don't think ranting on message boards will makes us humans more tolerant towards each other. If you want to see some effect, make art. Make something that provokes people, just to see what the reaction will be. Then learn from that lesson, and make more art, which makes your opinions on matters more and more attractive.
