The funny thing about the French Canadians is that both normal Canadians and the French hate them. I love Montreal, and try to go there at least once a year, but sometimes the people that live there and the rest of French speaking Canada can be a pain.

Lol. Can any french speaking members translate some of what he's saying? However hilarious, the auto-subs from Youtube didn't help at all. Did I hear he say " Twain"?

I only know a little French...
Throughout the video he keeps saying, "Est-ce que tu / vous parles français?" (Do you speak French?). He also repeatedly tries to get the Asian guy to say, "Bonjour" ("dis / dites 'bonjour'!"). Something like, "Je n'ai de problème avec toi" (I don't have a problem with you) when the other guy tries to butt in. "J'ai fait tout la Canada" (I've been everywhere in Canada). "Arrête de toucher" (stop touching me).
And also something like, "If you're not able to say, 'bonjour,' you aren't respecting my culture."
Actual French speakers can get anything I missed.

I go to Montreal often and have been for almost 20 years. I've never had problems like this. However the election of the PQ has raised fears that stupidity like this will be on the rise.

People who film vertical videos need to be killed.
Slowly.
In front of their children if they have any.
Thats the only way this madness will stop. |

What I remember from those few years of French lessons at school would have been handy for the Asian guy: Ta gueule!
