I hate to be a downer everybody, but I really notice a gaffe in this track:
This track from 2008 has an interesting synth, and I formed a gripe when I heard the part at 3:25. That synth is gross.

Not an interesting synth IMO, not amazing, but the worst it's also not. Think I have heard it more, but I can't remember the tracks by head.

I didn't think it was that bad. Sounds like a hangover of some of the better stuff that was produced around 2004ish. Still, I think the arranging could have been better but thats a whole other story.
Even in 2008 club trance sounded way better than it does now and I remember back then trying with all my might not to hit myself over the head with a frying pan while listening to it. :(

I know what you mean brethren. technically, a christian should =shy away from secular music but this is what I grew up on. A catholic church should play 2 Disciples - To The Church.
and contrary to popular opinion, I think the lead synth in Dumonde - Kalt is amazing.
