Gonna try to roll by for a bit for his set. Heard the stage setup is pretty sick! Been wanting to catch him live since seeing vids of him. Dude is crazy legit!

The Highroller
Absolutely incredible. Every so often the marvels of technology can really astound you, and this was certainly one of those days.
I was considering writing a review of this show, but I'm having trouble putting the experience into words.
Jon, I was wondering where you were! I feel like that was something you would have really enjoyed.

it was unreal, i'll post some pics soon. apparently it wasn't even the 2.0 show... i guess it couldn't jive with the dimensions of the kool haus stage. i wish they wouldn't have marketed it as ISAM 2.0 if that was the case though
that being said, it was still absolutely mind-blowing even though i had already spoiled it by watching a ton of video (pro and amateur) over the last 6 months or so
Stilez
Didn't get to attend, but here are some pics taken of the event via Embrace

That was one hell of a show. I haven't heard music that intense and mind-bending since I last threw on his Isam cd.. such abstract and mechanical sounding music. That being said, it was nice of him to (somewhat) lighten up the mood from time to time with more familiar sounds, especially during the second part of his show.
One thing that kept crossing my mind throughout the show is how musically gifted this guy is. His ability to manipulate sounds and arrange them in such complex structures is out of this world. He'd just keep you on your toes the whole time with no clue what to expect next. Ahhh what a show!
I heard he played at wrongbar after. Did anyone check that out?

First tune that he started off with. One of my favourite songs from the album. If you have a good set of speakers or headphones, get hold of a high quality copy of this tune and crank it up.
Here's one of my favourite tunes by him. I've posted it in this thread before, but it's worth a repost.
This is for those into production. There are plenty more videos and sites that show you his studio setup.

it was pretty awesome. not really much of a dance show it was more visual than anything.
the whole set up was well put together and well planned out, i hope it inspires djs to come up with their own ideas in creating cool looking dj booths, there were parts of the show where they made it look like he was on a spaceship.
also i got the ticket for free, my friend won a contest. i always wanted to see amon tobin, his soundtrack from chaos theory is one of my favs
