Hey guys
We interviewed Markus Schulz at this years South West Four Festival in London at Clapham Common.
He talked to us about the state of trance, his new album Scream and more.

His album sucks balls if you want to save your ears don't bother listening to the instrumentals nor the vocal tracks they are horrible.
The ear bleeding pitch crap he plays has nothing to do with trance and back in 1999 the commercial trance was a hell of a lot better than what's coming from America and what some of the Europeans are jumping on this bandwagon to attract some of the dumb clubbers from America. |

I love people that just go on about the past and how good stuff used to be...some people are so nostalgic it's hilarious.
I'm not saying this album is awesome, cos I haven't listened to it all. But I'm glad I'm not as critical as some people on this forum, I'm glad I can listen to music thesedays that's being marketed as trance and enjoy it...I actually feel sorry for those that can't get over the fact that if say, Gareth Emery, makes a track that is sold in the 'Trance' section on Beatport it's a ing disgrace to the whole ideology of trance and it shouldn't be like that!!! AHH TRANCE ISN'T TRANCE, TROUSE, WTF IS THIS , COMMERICAL BULL, 1998-2004 BEST YEARS YEEEEEEH, LOST THEIR ROOTS, BASTARDS
hahaha, anyone seen that episode of South Park where Stan starts seeing everything as , it's like that. |

I wrote pretty much this exact same post back in 2003 when people were criticising some track I enjoyed. It took me a couple of years to understand what they were talking about. You're not wrong for enjoying whatever "trance" is on BP. That would be like telling someone they're wrong for enjoying whatever track Bieber just released. You just go on enjoying whatever you do and don't pay attention to "us" nay-sayers. Our take on music is just very different from yours. You may or may not see this point of view in time. Either way; wasting energy on getting offended by people telling you the music you listen to sucks donkeyballs is pointless. |

The thing is; to all those people (you could even go as far as say most people) this is true. Just as true as someone claiming DJ Sammy made a lot of ty music. That Kaleidoscope was a horrible album. That James Holden stopped making good music a long time ago. I'm not sure I'm getting my point across to you. Am I? |
