Well you know how you made that thread about how lame and everything emo corner was. Well after creating a few troll threads there I saw that some of the users on that site were actually quite decent and were exactly the sortof people that I wanted to get to know. So for quite a while (it's nowadays, hence why I left) I spent many hours of my life on that site, and talking to infinite numbers of emo chicks on msn (tried talking to guys as well but for some reason they're harder to talk to).
So yeh, that's responsible for my entire way of thinking and philosophy, which is similar to the sortof philosophy of a lot of other people I talked to on there. No it's not whinge whinge whinge (sure lots of people are like that but those weren't the ones I chose to talk to), it's more about an existential look on life. I.e. finding your own purpose within life (yes I do know what that word means). Also a focus on the fact that even just one close friend is all you ever need and to ingore the opinions of the idiotic majority whenever it suits.
My experiences through that and similar sites (I now find new people to talk to on vampirefreaks.com because EC went to ) are also responsible for a large part of my social skills and most definitely for pretty much every chick I've ever dated. I've met almost all of them on the net including my current gf (the first off of EC, the 2nd at a party I only found out about because of someone I knew on vf, the rest through VF).
If it wasn't for you I'd just be some nerdy kid with no social skills who stayed up all night because he hated school like I was when I was 12-14.
