| Yeah man... weirdy funk stuff.. i like it :) I'm not on my monitors so I'm not gonna say alot about the production quality... I like the groove and arrangement, but I think it couldve done with a full sub bass inbetween the kicks, just pumping the track along.. I like the bass that's there now, but it isn't really nuff imo. |

| You start with a fairly typical DJ friendly striped down intro though you introduce a delayed stab which implies that things are getting going but then return to the stripped down beat which makes it sound a little labored, perhaps shorten the intro a little. Things sound pretty cool once it gets going. I think the quirky bass when it comes in makes the main beat sound a bit pedestrian, perhaps the beat needs some kind of swing to it to fit the quirkiness of the bass. I don't really like the break with the sax and the housey keys those elements seem to conflict with each other. Overall this track has a pretty funky flavor & some nice musical passages. |
