A new euphoric trancer from me... let me know your thoughts, cheers!

The melody is nice, but gets very repetative. Some variation there would be nice to keep the interest up. Can't comment on the mixing right now.

Agree, very promising melodic development but need to be supported by more sound evolution (I would say that some warm and big pad sound would add a lot of color/texture to your base piano melody) - just my thoughts!!!

Cheers,

Thanks for your insightful comments Darek!

Lower section is kinda what we say in finnish "tukossa", it's not breathing. Get the kick/bassline breathing and the lots of thing sound different.

Hey thanks for taking time to listen and comment :D Not sure how to get kick/bassline "breathing" though, can you explain further? Thanks.

Imo your kick and bass sound like one mass now. There is alot of things to do to get them sound separately. Eq, side chain... you just have to try what works on this tune. Simpliest thing is that there is no kick and bass at the same time and they don't dominate at the same frequencies. This is not stuff that there is only one answer. Try, try, try...

Ok cool, thanks for getting back to me :D

Made a number of changes to this track based on various feedback. I've reduced the distortion on the kick, played with eq, sidechain etc to create more definition bettween the kick and the base, added some more pad sounds and juggled a few other elements.

With Darek on this.

It needs some other melodic development.

I would also perhaps not start off by introducing the Piano straight away, instead build to that point, otherwise it gets on your nerves after a few minutes. It's melodic strength doesn't hold up.

I also know what Holle is suggesting. Sometimes composing bass is as much about what you leave out as to what you put in.

Nice track though with potential so thanks for sharing

Cheers
