okay im kinda like a newb to trance. i have a wide variety on my comp but only have DJ Teisto - Summerbreeze and DJ Micro - Tech Mix 2000.
so heres the thing. i like both CD's and major propps to the tiesto one. for my bday i got paul oakenfold - tranceport. it has stuff like pvd and that good stuff. is that like similar to summerbreeze.. well i know it wont be so similiar.. but is it more techno or hip hop crap that he does.
also due the the lack on trance culture in my area i havent really been readily available to trance CD's soo i was wondering what are some good CD's like tech mix 2000 and summerbreeze and just stuff like armin and ferry corsten.. cuz i really like that stuff
so like whats the best. corrsten CD, armin CD, another tiesto CD, Yahel CD, and like prolly PvD. just stuff like that.. so i know what to buy cuz those 30 second samples on best buy.com are poo.

Well, given your current tastes I'd have to say Global Underground 13: Sasha in Ibiza probably wouldn't be to your liking...it's very progressive.
If you want my advice try buying artist CD's (ie: albums made up of music all actually made by the artist) and just download DJ sets...dozens of sets are available on-line of all the top DJ's and often have better playlists than the CD's available.
My recommendations?
Tiesto - In My Memory (domestic)
Paul van Dyk - Out There and Back (domestic)
Yahel - Waves of Sound (import)
Vincent de Moor - Moor (import)
Rank 1 - Symsonic (import)
System F (Ferry Corsten) - Out of the Blue (full length, import)
All of these are artist albums that you'd probably dig on if you're a Tiesto fan...importing can get pricy but unfortunately not a lot of stuff is released domestically in North America :mad: |
