We plan on hitting this up after Amon Tobin but I'm worried about the venue. It looks super small and seems a little too big for it's britches as far as drink prices, door policies, bartender attitudes etc. I've never been so maybe someone can fill me in. Other than that Nicole will smash it and I would love to see her.

I actually love this venue. Perfect sized club for techno and tech-house DJs...Orlando just doesn't draw the huge crowds for this music that Miami does, so it really is perfect.

I always have a good time here for shows. And drink prices are kind of high but they're like that in every club downtown on a Friday night.

Pat said I should go --- so thats what I am gonna do :tongue2

safari master - man, thats quite the judgement for this place lol I am behind ucforange all the way. This venue is very nice, small but intimate, great sound too. Its not a place you go to get mangled or jump around like an idiot, and there are never lil kids running around (its 21+ for guys, at least).

And if drink prices are too high, pre-game across the street at the Pourhouse, its cheaper to drink there...thats where I will be before I go in.

Ya know I was looking at pictures of the place, checking out reviews online and that's actually the only ammo I had to make my assessment. Truth be told I was waiting on some TA folk to clue me in and I got what I asked for so thank you guys for that. We did get tickets so party on! Going to the show at HOB first so that will be my pregame essentially but really I'm not sure which show I'm more excited about, both should be amazing! Living in Fernandina Beach I don't get to travel much but tonight is going to be a real treat. Surprised there is no Amon Tobin thread on this forum is legit.... Blitz -> I'll be wearing red plaid button up with jeans would be cool to say what's up... holla

hope you fuckers are having fun! :whip:

Right. While those s were jammin out at senso, I was pouring Malibu-Diets and Vodka-Pineapples for English s that don't tip. Lol. Hate missing out on shows like this!

What an amazing night! We started at HOB for the Amon Tobin show. Holy Other opened and really set the table with some thick, atmospheric throbbing tunes. Amon Tobin came on around 9 and WOW what a spectacle. Really jaw dropping stuff there, the music was good but matched with the visuals it was really just huge! The show ended around 10:15 and we headed downtown for Moudabar. UCF and Blitz were right, Senso turned out to be a really great venue. Great sound, look and vibe. There was actually a good amount of room (sometimes I forget not everyone knows what up regarding techno) so that was nice. Nicole came on shortly after 12, slammed on the gas and wouldn't let up! Incredible, just humpin stuff from her all night. She has great energy and damn that hair lol. Towards the end of the night the VIP areas cleared and things just kept picking up. I was waiting to hear her massive track with Victor Calderone and when it dropped we went nuts! It was a hell of a JOURNEY but unfortunately it DID have to end around 2:45 when we left with a big smile on our face. Just an awesome night in Orlando, see you again soon :)

Glad you had fun...they do a lot of good shows. Zabiela is coming up and Dubfire is there in December. Maybe see you then?
