have to say, the second time posting with your wares and nothing else. People , people that contribute , are not allowed to sell their equipment, i sort of find it rather shameless and tacky. Perhaps if you offered people some incentive to not see your posts as spam, say something free , people would be more open to these types of threads.

I have a problem that you don't seem to understand the concept of a community. What you do is slightly rude and does not really respect the forums you are selling to. On the spectrum of things to do would be to say pirate your stuff. So i think given what can and does happen to developers, some modicum of respect would seem somehow something you should consider.

Hi there,

Thanks for your answer. I do feel like I have also been contributing (slightly) to the community by sharing free sounds several times on here in the past (three mini trance sample packs over the last few months and more recently, one free 600+ MB sample pack).

That being said, I appreciate your opinion and I can understand how you feel. This is why I wrote a notice at the beginning of my post to make sure people are OK with me posting about our products on here. If it turns out the general opinion is that it's not OK, I will obviously not post things like this again / remove this thread.

i enjoyed the first pack and found it really useful as a learning tool, being quite new to trance/house production.

Particularly the concept of layering synths - and how the individual layers sounded frankly quite weak on their own, but great when combined with other synths playing the same part to form one element. For example there was around 5 bass layers i think, mid and sub.

im sure ill be picking this up at some point :)

Thanks Chris,

I'm glad the first volume was useful to you. Layering basslines is indeed one of the critical production points in most uplifting trance tracks. With the Revelations packs we try to provide a bit of insight into this aspect, amongst others :)
