I wonder how often this happens, this seems a bit ridiculous. And Obvious?

The Original :

The Others...:

Came across these copycats doing some shopping...

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that this sound is getting beaten to death right now.

The rolling synth bass is the similarity. It's possible they sampled it from the same source and the "original" just did it first.

Edit: Totally meant "continuous" not "rolling" I'd hate to offend anyone with something as atrocious as a mistakenly described bassline... :p

kinda odd in that the notes and rhythm are identical. But also weird that it not something so awesome that you would feel the need to steal it. When you say rolling bass, well , i didn't hear one. Not that it matters. Just might want to clear that up in case you find your self at some video game conference and you make that mistake and have 20 asians on your ass.

This bassline is like the dubstep wobble of tech house right now

And it's not deep house

Regardless of what genre this sound is, I'm wondering how they get away with it. To me, the tunes are fundamentally identical, so where do they get the nerve to do this? Do they not know that people will find out, or are they just that oblivious? It just seems so obvious. Aren't there copyright issues?
corjay9
ketamine house or k-house for short.

ROFL, holy hahahahhaahhhaaha. That's even worse than Trance tracks having similar melodies.

That is just ing LAZY.
Dykes_on_Jay
blame it on everyone using the same sample packs instead of *shudder* bothering to do a bit of sound design.

Either way they all suck.
