Reminds me of Ferry Corsten's pop-electro-trance style he used in RADIO CRASH, PUNK, BEAUTIFUL and others.
Do you put any preliminary compression on the master (or on anywhere else) in your previews/WIPs that you post? |

Well, I have a bad habit of slamming my WIPs full of compression to make them sound 'better'. I didn't think there was any. I have a hard time critiquing mixing without it I suppose. |

| I tested it on my Fostex monitors and on phones and it seems compressed and shrill to me already, I don't want to push it too far in case it then sound like a wall of sound on a club system. If a label picks it up I can get it mastered anyway. |
