I dont like these sort of threads, im a big "Prog-head" but I cant give you an answer lmfao. Imo, the way things work in certain genres, its very hard to give plausible answers because many are capable of extruding dynamics, spectrum-fill, creativity, sound design and feel(might be missing things, certain things come to mind but im not sure if they're relavent; but im sure you get what im getting at). Ironic that I've participated in yearly threads before, though.

Not quite 2012, but close, just a few months shy of it. Was labeled as tech house, but to me it's got a little bit of that tribal prog feel from the last decade.
