You have an issue with the kick being too prominent around 100hz or so, it's really boxy. I'm on headphones though so do an EQ sweep to find out exactly where it's resonating.
The offbeat hat is also too loud, and probably too long too.
Push the bassline forward too. It's almost inaudible under that kick.

With regard to the "dated" hi hat, just add some reverb and / or EQ it to taste and it might actually be OK. The overall mix could use some depth to begin with. Adding echoe and/or reverb to some sounds add dimension to a mix.

All of those above comments are pretty valid and covers a lot of small issues which will need to be address ;)
Beside this fact, you are on something cool which easily can be turn into a great production.
Last word from me --> it is a bit static and repetitive and missing some distinct/unique melodic element (lead) which will/would add some more "WoW" factor to your track but your base is well cover already lol.
Sound like you can see this light on the end of the tunnel my friend, not bad at all !!!!
