This isn't an official CD release but the quality is pretty much on par with one (I did this for James Warren's previous WOW remix tributes, so I felt it would be appropriate to share here. Not to mention, there is no officially released best of or the like, so this is the next best thing!

After years of speculation and best intentions, Dr. Warren has managed to put together his long-awaited first "Original Production" tribute to Way Out West (Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren) after churning out five phenomenal remix tributes. Painstakingly perfected through multiple iterations, this was put together with great care and attention to detail and even includes exclusive material you've likely never heard before. Minimal samples and additional production/composition from James have also been overlaid for your listening enjoyment:

What is Sequoia (Breaks Mix)? I presume the promo mix is the version with the Dead Can Dance vocal sample that never made it onto the album, but I wasn't aware of any other version.

And who is James Warren, exactly?

Unreleased version that didn't make it very far past the studio. ;)

As far as James, here's a bio that can sum it up quicker than me: http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/jameswarren/biography

Abbreviated form: Progressive house DJ/producer from the UK who has a knack for making tribute mixes for more widely appreciated artists (has done some for Gui Boratto, Hybrid and Trafik as well).
