I'm constructing a Jazzy downtempo mix called Unconditional Happiness full of beautiful music.
I'd really like to include a quote or two about someone taking about being happy, or anything to do with feeling happy, or even talking about appreciating every moment, the beauty that surrounds us, living in the present moment etc.

I was hoping for an audio sample I could cut up.... proving a bit hard to find.

You could try a quote from a movie. There are plenty of youtube clips on memorable movie quotes. And then there's a whole section of documentaries. Audio books, inspirational speaking materials, i.e. Deepak Chopra crap :)
It would take some time looking through these, then use audio capture and you're set to go!

The opening to "White River Junction" by The Orb is a recording of what seems like a self-help tape... "you are a happy person, full of imaginative thoughts". Then it slowly morphs into a bubbling ambient track.

I do this all the time in my mixes. There is no easy way to find these samples. I spent a few hours one time cutting up a couple Alan Watts presentations.
Other than that, you are going to have to just watch lots of movies/tv shows/etc and note when there is a nice monologue/quote so you can rip it.
Posting a thread asking someone to do this for you is really lame and lazy and not at all in the spirit of being artistic. Choose your own samples
