Then you'd fire back "what do you mean?" Then he'd say "meet me at the Motel 6 off I-something (highway? Kentucky has those, right?) at 8 o' clock", then you'd be like "What for, mister? I'm just an innocent part-time college student, I don't know nothin' about no liaison" and then he'd be like "oh, you know what", then you'd be like "what, you want me to have relations with you to keep my job, Mister? Ain't you married and have kids 'n all?", then he'd be like "yeah, but they don't have to kno- And then a flashbomb would bounce right into the manager's office of the Gamestop (I'm assuming that's where you worked) and a squad of armed police officers would storm in and press the perp against the back office drywall and read him his rights and give you a plaque with the ♀ on it and you'd automatically get the rights to your own Lifetime original movie with credits and you'd be played by some B-actress I dunno some blond with ducky lips and a forehead and you would have made maybe $80,000 in royalties and lived it up at first but squandered your fortune within just a few years realizing how insufficient a pittance like that is just before it's TOO LATE

BUT NO. YOU BLEW IT. YOU BLEW IT BY NOT BLOWING HIM. LOOK WHAT YOU'VE FOREGONE.

Might as well just settle down and have kids now, at this point, you know?

Wait, what do you mean "go to the kitchen". Do you mean to tell us you're not in the kitchen right now?

poor guy cried at the end.

imma boss.

How do you fire a guy for your boss?

isn't that what your boss is suppose to do?
Nrg2Nfinit
are you guys all managers? or do your managers just foot about it and tell you to tell your collegues that they are fired.

i have some sort of authority. i'm not a manager, or a supervisor...i'm one step below supervisor.

i fired some douche two weeks ago. tbh, i've never felt better personally. it's like my testicles finally dropped.

Been fired from every single job that wasn't music related. About 15 jobs in all ? Never late or for bad performance. Apparently i have issues with authority.

First job was my paper route. Well actually they laid all the kids off. Grade 6.
Next job was working in a warehouse at 14. Not really sure why there.
I worked at the Calgary zoo at 18. They wanted to fire me then found out I was using their machines to make fake IDs. RCMP came to the house and it was a gong show. apparently they liked my craftsmanship. That was probably the only one that made sense. Well at the time they happened.

and from 18 to 26 , 1 year a job. Even as TA, they almost fired me for swearing in class.

At first it felt bad because you wonder what it was you did wrong. Eventually you see the signs and pre-emptively them first.

Looking back, I think the problem was that these were no skill jobs were the boss judges you on how much he likes you. People that manage low skill workers are usually kinda dumb. I don't see to get along with dumb people. It isn't like i try to piss them off. IT just happens. I also use that time to practice my stand up material.

Firing people is easy, because they don't belong there and/or usually misrepresented their skills at the interview or are plain out ups. Laying off someone that did nothing wrong and worked well is the hardest thing.

I fired a teacher last week for being 20 minutes late everyday and he went nuts. Why why why and what not. Why? Because I'm paying you to teach and have to do it for you.
Looney4Clooney
were these locals ?

Dykes_on_Jay
I don't hire locals. My students want to study abroad, so learning English is important, not Engrish. Also Western teachers are good for marketing days, because you put them in a suit and it looks like your school is paying for top dollar talent. I'm the only one not wearing off the rack. Image is 75% of business here.
