If you help me clean house the whole week before! Seriously though, if there's guest parking still available here that night, you could park at my condo and we could walk down together & cab it back...just lemme know if interested. :)

Flyer shows "Tickets: $20-80," just got mine for $20 so that's good! Couldn't care less about Darey unless he has changed his sound back, but Pedro del Mar is great and should complement Rich well! :)

For future references, because I was hesitant on buying tickets for this one, is this a completely gay club regardless of event nights?

I looked online and it looked like it, but I've never been there. I am ok with gay clubs that have event nights like LMD at Circus, but if it's going to be 100% gay, don't think it's my thing, even for someone like Solarstone. I got hit on enough by dudes at JvD shared night, don't think I can handle a full blown dance floor with them haha. No offense or anything, be gay as you want, it's just annoying getting hit on and surrounded by 30 dudes with their shirts off.

No. Nights such as this are (or were, since I don't know if this will happen again) "mainstream." Factory has been doing that for awhile, but I think it may tend to be confusing for people who go out to a "club" rather than an "event." Then again, Circus and Arena seem to pull it off.

I was discussing LA's nightclub segregation with my (straight) friends in the Netherlands once, and they thought it was extremely odd. Why would anyone go to a club not based primarily on the music, but rather on sexual orientation? It is a little ridiculous, if you ask me (although no one did), as gay DJ's are booked for gay clubs and usually play horrible music, and most mainstream DJ's wouldn't set foot into a gay club (or could they even get in since they are not gay, well not at least to the public, Guetta is the only gay DJ out there...) Still a rather taboo subject in this day and age, just makes me laugh sometimes until I start crying over it. :wtf:

Last week's show must not have done very well. I always love seeing Solarstone, so hopefully someone else brings him back soon.

This promoter seemed a little unorganized in the way they presented themselves, anyway. Putting Matt Darey above Solarstone on the billing? Having Space Rockerz and York in tiny print on the lineup with Roger Shah? Some people saying it's more of an Afterhours type place, but the flier treating it differently? It was just odd.

I blame it on lactose intolerance to Darey! :p
