Actually, this was for a sound demo I'm doing so not really a track as such.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts however as it's the first DUBSTEP thing I've done.

chris marsh
cool i like it

great sounds, especially like that industrial type drone pad

Stunning mate!

Very clean, perfect sounds and stutters. You should release this. Needs mI think some sort of vocal hook - I onow that sounds a bit naff but for me that would top this off.

IF you complete it, let me know, I'll buy it.

Way better than my dubstep in the track I posted a week or so back, grr.

It's just a soundset demo I'm doing for another synth programmer :D

Saying that, it's got some kind of juices flowing so I'll probably do something similar as a full track.

I'm not sure if it's worth releasing anything like this anyway as the sound has been done to death by now surely? Unless I try and make something a little different out of it.

Fookin' awesome Massive soundset though. Almost made it easy.

thanks for all the information guys

Great work. If I had to pick one element for improvement the snare stuck out. Maybe it just wasn't loud enough.
nusphere
yeah sounds great, very heavy! Perhaps the snare could use more reverb. I like the use of stereo though it could be a bit much for a club system.

Thanks dudes.

Remember, this is just a soundset demo for a synth, so I won't be revisiting it for a mixdown or anything.

I can take those points onboard should I do another dubstep track however.

Slightly tweaked final version up.

Personally, I hate dubstep but decided to give it a listen anyway. Sounds very professional - either the soundset is very good or you mixed it with some processing magic. Or both. ;)

The soundset is brilliant tbh. I'd like to think I had some impact on the outcome too, but it wasn't particularly hard to get it sounding as it does. :p
