well it depends how integer (is this spelled this way?) you are and what kind of feedback you want:

Some people follow 5,000 people and get 4,000 followers in return , the problem is that this followers have no real interest in your stuff and just want to have X followers. What is sad is that as you see in the figures 80% of the people is like this.
Worst thing is that some labels won't listen to you if you don't have followers enough and this is stupid. If i have 100 real followers, some of them even without tracks uploaded, just listeners it will be better than having 4,000 scums.
I bet you can achieve 10k + followers without even uploading a track. In fact deadmau5 often trolls people uploading 20 second samples of pure noise. They have 200k views (till here normal given the popularity) but also 5,000 downloads and 3,000 favoritings. Are you ing serious? You downloaded a track made by his cat and put it on your ipod?

what is with those Effiel Tower synth sounds people use. I honestly don't get that. Those mid high tones that sound like they would be on like the proteus dance xpansion in 1999 or something. Noticed them in djRyans track but like everyone is using them lately. Drives me nuts.

like spending time in thrift stores committing fashion genocide ? I would not sign an artist that looked like that. I mean we would have to stipulate in the contract that all outfits have to be green lighted by me. Those googles are just awful., And the hat. I mean the combination is up there with illgates. Slap worthy.

I know you have a lot of experience w/ Music. But those Noise Sounds you referring to, I like to associate with the co2 cannons blasting off at any given club. Its just an innate reminder of how cool it is after the bass drop, to be blasted w/ that cold refreshing blast of air, after dancing non stop to this or that dj.
